History of the Institute
The Institute of Psychology was founded on 1st October 1945 according
to the Decree by the Soviet of People Commissioners of the Ukrainian SSR, No.1573.
Till 1992 the Institute was managed by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine,
and since 1992 by the National Academy of Pedagogical Science of Ukraine.
On 6th December 1995 the Cabinet of Ministers passed the Decree No.978
according to which the Institute of Psychology was named after Academician
Hrygory S.Kostiuk,
the prominent Ukrainian psychologist, who was the founder
and the first Director of this scientific institution. |
