INFORMATION LETTER
Dear
Colleagues:
G.S. Kostyuk Institute of Psychology, APS of Ukraine
in cooperation with N.P.Dragomanov National
Pedagogical University are planning to organize the International scientific-practical conference «Personal Success: Potential and limits», which
will take place
on 18-19th March,
2010.
Psychologists, educators, philosophers, sociologists, methodologists,
specialists in the field of information technologies and applied sciences, as
well as school staff and business structures are invited to participate in the Conference.
The purpose of the Conference is to assist in building a model of
success for the post-Soviet territories.
Planned
are the following sections of the Conf erence:
1. Educators’ personal success.
2. Success of an individual in the context of the age periodization:
the success of youth, maturity, and old age. Role
performance, gender performance.
3. Limits of successfulness: the dichotomy of success, myths about success. Burnout of successful people.
4. Role success,
success in work: managerial activity and teaching.
5. The newer technologies
for increasing of successfulness:
• Distance learning courses of self-development and e-learning.
• Training.
Conference
activities:
• Presentations (Plenary – up to 20 minutes;
sections - up to 10 minutes; poster).
• Round Table (section 1).
• Master-classes (sections 2, 3, 4).
• Evening lectures of outstanding contemporary
scholars and practitioners.
Following the results of the Conference, scientific papers will be
published in accordance with the requirements of the Higher Attesting
Commission.
To participate in the Conference you
should:

March 1, 2010 (the form is in the attachment);
2. send an abstract (up to 3 pages);

electronic version; hard copy shall be submitted personally during the
registration. Requirements to the articles: according to the requirements of
HAC.
The Conference will take place in the premises of N.P.Dragomanov
NPU (9 Pirogova Str.,
The participants will be provided, on request, with hostel or hotel
accommodation.
Travel and accommodation expenses will be incurred by the participants.
Other conditions and requirements to the articles will be given in the
next information letters.
